Biography

Kate Thomson-Jones’ main research area is aesthetics. Her new book is titled Image in the Making: Digital Innovation and the Visual Arts (Oxford University Press). She has also published extensively in the philosophy of film.

In addition to her regular teaching in aesthetics and value theory, she runs the Philosophy in the Schools (PHITS) program.
