Written by Alex Higgin-Houser and composed by David Kornfeld, Haymarket is a new folk musical about the labor union strikes of Chicago in the 1800s and the Haymarket riots. Following the story of Lucy and Albert Parsons and several other key figures in this true story, Haymarket is a story about revolution, anarchy, and community that is as culturally relevant in 2026 as it was in the 1880s.

Warner Main, located on the second floor of the iconic Warner Gymnasium, is a beautiful space perfect for a historical folk musical. Due to the nature of the old building, there is a chairlift available for wheelchair users, but unfortunately no elevator. Therefore, the Haymarket team would like to extend the offer to patrons who feel like they would like more time to get settled into the space an opportunity to have an early entrance in Warner Main. The early access time will be 30 minutes before each show begins, and the general entrance time will be 20 minutes before each show. Please see timing details below:

Please also be aware that wearing outside shoes is not permitted in Warner Main. There will be shoe racks inside the space as well as shoe covers provided for those not able to take off their shoes.
