We want Oberlin to get involved in civic engagement in a productive and collaborative way. Student Senate and OC Votes are spearheading Dear Democracy: Spring 2025 Letter Writing Drive for the month of April! Uplifting student voices is necessary, and this letter-writing campaign will give students a way to express themselves to elected officials. The drive will occur through the month of April 2025.
Our Kickoff Event will be held from 12-3pm on April 4th in Wilder Main. Following that, each Friday we will have open hours from 12-1 pm in Wilder Lobby for students to come and write letters and/or drop off letters they’ve already written. We will keep track of the number of letters that we write!
