Edie Fake is an incredible painter who creates wildly imaginative architectures of trans and queer utopia and liberation, from sand castles to gender-affirming healthcare centers. The Allen is currently displaying a work by Fake in the special exhibition, Kitsch, Craft, Critique and is thrilled to welcome Fake for a lunch and conversation in the Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Enviornmental Studies from 12pm to 1pm on Thursday, October 9 and a free, public talk on at 5:30, followed by a reception.
Please RSVP here if you would like to attend the lunchtime event with Edie Fake. We will provide lunch and an architecturally-themed activity, inviting students to re-imagine building facades on campus as sites of queer joy and inclusion.
Open to all members of the Oberlin campus community
