Join Maxwell Ryan ’89, (BA in English literature, minor in art), as he shares his story from teaching elementary school to starting Apartment Therapy a design business helping people to make their homes more beautiful, organized, and healthy. Since 2001 Maxwell has grown to add The Kitchn, Cubby, and Dorm Therapy, and has authored four books on design. His talk, offered at 12:20 p.m. (lunch provided) and 4:45 p.m. in Moffett Auditorium, Mudd Center, will highlight growing a business from start-up, and the importance of; small businesses, leader/leader management structure, using OKRs to drive your business, and building a company dashboard for success.
