Ryley (she/her) is a fourth-year Psychology and Law & Society major, with a minor in Gender, Sexuality & Feminist Studies, and a concentration in data science. After growing up in Oberlin, and choosing to stay for college, she is involved all across campus. Outside of being a tour guide, summer intern, and now a senior fellow for Admissions, she also works as a Data Science Peer Tutor in Oberlin’s Center for Learning, Engagement and Research (CLEAR), the intern for Oberlin’s Athletics Communications department, and as a Psychology Research Aide.
She is a captain on the track & field team, along with being the co-chair of Oberlin’s Athlete Ally Chapter - a group that focuses on LGBTQIA+ inclusivity in sports, and is a part of the Law & Justice Scholars Program. After an internship with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Social Impact & Equity team this past summer, and an immersive experience learning about the Gaelic Athletics Association (GAA) and their role in Ireland’s fight for independence when she studied abroad in Dublin, she hopes to continue social justice work in sports post-grad by working for a professional women’s sports team.
