Arya (she/her) is a fourth-year from the suburbs of Chicago studying Neuroscience and Psychology with a minor in Global Health. Outside of admissions, she is a peer tutor for Chemistry, a Study Away Peer Advisor, and the chair for the South Asian Student Association. She is currently conducting research in the Oberlin Psychology department on attention and memory through eye tracking and a qualitative study on the experiences of Bi/Multi-racial college students in the United States.
Beyond her academics, Arya plays trumpet, does landscape and portrait photography, and loves to attend student performances around Oberlin. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school and continue her career in Psychology.
