Wi-Fi Access

Visitors from eduroam-participating Institutions

Connect to the eduroam secure Wi-Fi network if you’re a student, researcher, or educator and have credentials from your home institution. You don’t need to register as a guest or obtain an Oberlin account to use eduroam.

Other Visitors

If you don’t have eduroam credentials, connect to the ObieWiFi, unsecured Wi-Fi network. You don’t need an account if you want to connect a computer you’ve brought to campus but don’t need to print.

Printing and Computer Lab Access

If you need to use one of Oberlin’s computer labs or want to print, you’ll need to get a sponsored account. Sponsored accounts can be created at the locations listed below.

  • CIT Help Desk (Mudd Center, main floor)
  • Alumni Services
  • Conference Services
  • Mudd Center, Circulation Desk
  • Office of Conservatory Summer Programs

Once you have a sponsored account, you can use these credentials to log in any open-use computer lab on campus and can also use it to authenticate when printing. All sponsored accounts come preloaded with $2 of print credit (about 25 pages).

Note: Sponsored accounts are valid for three days from the date of creation. Longer-term accounts may be created with valid requests. Visit the CIT Help Desk to extend your account or to add additional print credit.
