Upgrade to Zoom 5.0 before May 30

Zoom 5.0 is now available. The new version includes many security enhancements with support for AES 256-bit GCM encryption, which provides added protection for meeting data and greater resistance to tampering. After updating to Zoom 5.0, you will be able to:

• report a user to Zoom’s Trust & Safety team for review
• clearly decide between ending or leaving a meeting, and easily designate a new host when leaving
• disable the ability for participants to show their profile picture and also prevent them from changing it in a meeting

All users must update to Zoom 5.0 by May 30 in order to join a meeting. To upgrade, visit the Zoom download page. If you need assistance, open a ticket using the CIT Tech Support Portal.
