Student Parking Updates & Winter Break Instructions

Campus Safety

As we wrap up the fall semester, we want to share some important updates regarding student parking availability and changes taking effect during Winter Break.

🟢 New Parking Availability

We are pleased to announce two expansions to student parking options:

  • Woodland Hall: With construction concluding, this lot will expand to include 55 additional spaces designated for student parking.

  • North Parking Lot: A new lot located by the softball fields is now active and open for student use.

🔴 Critical Change: Fieldhouse/Philips Gym Lot

Effective Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the Fieldhouse/Philips Gym Lot will no longer include a student parking section. This lot will revert to staff/faculty and visitor use only.

❄️ Winter Break & Winter Term Action Required

If you plan to leave your vehicle on campus during Winter Break or Winter Term, please adhere to the following:

  1. Move Your Vehicle: If you are currently parked in the Fieldhouse/Philips Gym Lot, you must move your vehicle to another designated student parking lot before December 23, 2025.

  2. Verify Your Lot: Ensure you are parked in a designated Student Parking area

  3.

⚠️ Important Reminders

Student Parking Map

  • Shared Lots: Please be aware that some lots highlighted on the map are Shared Parking Lots. These contain specific areas for "Reserved/Staff" and separate areas for "Student Parking." Always check signage and paint markings to ensure you are in a student zone.

  • Availability: Parking is strictly first-come, first-served. If your preferred lot is full, you must locate another designated student parking area.

  • Enforcement: Failure to park in designated student areas—or failure to vacate the Fieldhouse lot by the deadline—will result in citations and possible vehicle immobilization (booting) or removal (towing).

We appreciate your cooperation as we make these transitions to improve campus facilities. Good luck with your finals! If you have any questions regarding these changes, please reach out to the Campus Safety Office.
