As Assistant Director, Brian oversees the Arts, Creative Professions, & Education career community. In this role, he guides students in navigating industries that thrive on storytelling, innovation, and expression. His experience as an educator equips him to meet students where they are, translating their academic and creative passions into actionable career pathways.
As a classroom educator, Brian has long believed that the most transformative learning often occurs beyond the classroom. Throughout his career, he has empowered students to embrace diverse experiences, expand their perspectives, and find meaning in every stage of their personal and professional development.
Brian encourages Obies to remain open to new opportunities and explore as many avenues for career exploration as possible. As he sees it, “in being open to new experiences, today’s future leaders will not only grow to find confidence in themselves and their stories, but more importantly, they will come to recognize and appreciate the different perspectives and strengths in others’ journeys.”
