Brendan Ortíz

Biography

I will be joining the environmental studies program at the beginning of Spring '25 for a 1-year teaching faculty position in the AJLC. My role here has been funded by the Oberlin College/LCCC food justice Mellon grant, for me to come on board and develop a hands-on farm-to-table practicum to convey the interconnectedness of food, community, sustainability, and human rights.
