As with last year, here's another packing list. Also as with last year, this is more things that might slip my mind. More obvious things like clothes, bags (I love bags), and my computer have not been included, though perhaps I'll later treat you to a full list of everything I bring.
Some sort of lunchbox
That one book about the early Christian church
Textbooks to sell back7
More soap than last year
Tape, thumbtacks, stapler, extra staples
Room things (posters! there are more that you have hidden away)
Dance things (don't forget makeup or hairspray!)11
Recorders of some sort
Camera and necessary accessories (connecting chord!)
1This is for one of my lovely Asia House friends, who will be taking Cell Molec this coming semester. 2Including, but not limited to: ramen, canned soup, graham crackers, apple sauce, bread making materials, peanut butter and honey, cereal, rice, and assorted pastas. 3For bread, cookies, muffins, macaroni and cheese, and other exciting things like that. 4Last semester, I began sticking Post-Its with "inspiring" sayings on my wall. I intend to continue that. 5I can't begin to tell you the number of times last semester that I wanted a hymnal and didn't have one. There's only so much that HymnSite can do for me. 6But not too many. Continue to set limits. Especially on the Animorphs books. 7Because at the end of every semester I say I will get rid of the books that I no longer need in a lucrative way, and then I never get around to it. 8Still one of the things that I forget the most when going places. 9I have never brought boots to school before. And so far I've been fine. But this whole living off campus thing has gotten me thinking about walking a greater distance to class. It's made me a bit paranoid. 10See the previous note. 11My lovely teacher/Bharatanatyam compatriot is returning from her year abroad! This is exciting, despite the fact that it will quickly become clear how much I have forgotten. 12After an incident earlier this summer in which most of my music was lost, I have resolved to become better at backing up my computer's memory. 13I swear I will study my Spanish during the semester. 14Of course.
