Student Services: Policies and Fees
Junior and Senior, Performance Diploma, Artist Diploma, and Master of Music Recitals
Degree recitals in Kulas Recital Hall, Warner Concert Hall, Fairchild Chapel, Stull Hall, Clonick Hall, The Birenbaum, The Cat in the Cream, and Finney Chapel are automatically recorded and streamed.
Recital Recordings
Please allow 7–14 business days for student recital audio to be uploaded to the online archive. Once complete, the files will be delivered to the student’s Oberlin email address as downloadable MP3 links. Processing times may be longer during peak seasons.
Sound Reinforcement
Students who require additional sound reinforcement for a degree recital, must submit a Sound Reinforcement Request Form at least two weeks prior to their recital date.
Any recording setup requiring additional microphone placement (such as onstage seating), will have an additional $35 fee. Audio Services must be notified at least two weeks prior to your recital date.
Canceling Services
Students wishing to cancel audio recording and/or live-streaming services may do so by completing the Service Cancellation Form at least one week prior to their recital date.
Degree Recitals
Degree recitals held in classrooms will not be automatically recorded. To have your Bibbins or Central classroom recital recorded, please fill out a Request for Audio Services form online at least two weeks prior to your recital. Although we do our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide recording services outside of the recital halls.
No video recording of the live stream feed is produced.

Important Information
Audio Services are not available on Mondays, and may not be available during fall, winter, and spring breaks; and holidays.
Remember: You must reserve hall time with Concert Productions before you request any services from Audio Services.
