As your class trustee, I will advocate strongly for the values that make Oberlin College such a wonderful institution. More specifically, I will advocate for the fair treatment of faculty, student-workers & other employees. I will advocate for our endowment to not be invested in industries or countries that commit human rights abuses. I will advocate for solutions that can make the college more affordable for low-income students. I will advocate for the importance of student orgs to campus life. With years of political organizing under my belt, I can promise that I will not only stand true to my word, but have the skills required to deliver the real results Oberlin College needs if we want to preserve what we love about it.
