As a Kindergarten teacher who’s responsible for the education of the world’s next greatest minds, it's paramount that I exemplify and pass on three essential skills: knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. As a trustee, one must utilize these skills to be a visionary who shapes and enriches the future of Oberlin for all. As a visionary, it is crucial to identify growth areas and implement plans to achieve them. Some areas of growth I will pour into as a Trustee include refining and expanding scholarships, utilizing more data-driven approaches to get a clearer vision of student and faculty concerns, and ensuring that Oberlin continues to thrive for all who wish to experience it. Being elected as Class Trustee does not mean we will reach a perfect Oberlin, but in the love of Oberlin, I will use my knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to help us become our absolute best.
