This is a full-day program that includes an optional overnight stay (seniors only) in a residence hall with a current student, panel sessions with faculty and current students, class observation, Admissions interview (seniors only) and the opportunity to have lunch in the dining hall. The two dates for 2019 Fall Visit Days are October 14 and November 11.
Multicultural Visit Program
The Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) is a selective, all-expenses-paid visit program for high-achieving high school seniors interested primarily in the College of Arts and Sciences. We encourage applications from students from diverse backgrounds including black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Hispanic/Latino/a/x, or Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.
To support socioeconomic diversity, the selection committee also will consider students from families with limited financial resources, regardless of cultural or racial background, as well as those who are among the first in their families to attend college (first generation).
