Virtual Multicultural Visit Program

Oberlin’s virtual Multicultural Visit Program (vMVP) is an online community engagement program for high-achieving high school seniors interested primarily in the College of Arts and Sciences. We encourage applications from students with diverse backgrounds. This includes students who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino/a/x, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. Additionally, students from families with limited financial resources, regardless of cultural or racial background, as well as those who are among the first in their families to attend college (first generation) are eligible. Participants must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or undocumented student living within the US.

Students accepted to the program will participate in a host of virtual experiences, including a campus tour, class visits, admissions and financial aid workshops, and interactive activities with current students, professors, and staff.

Program dates and application deadlines:

  • September 21-22, 2020 (application deadline: September 7)
  • October 7-8, 2020 (application deadline: September 23)
