Oberlin College is committed to helping its students, faculty, staff, and visitors make the most environmentally responsible choices as possible in their travel to, from, and around Oberlin.
Oberlin College recommends that students, and others, make environmentally responsible choices in their travel to, from, and around Oberlin. Although all students are allowed to have cars on campus, we encourage them to consider alternatives such as shuttle service, carsharing or carpooling with friends rather than bringing a car to campus.
Oberlin has arranged for private shuttle services for students to and from campus to the airport and to local venues. These services are offered throughout the academic year, especially weekdays, select weekends, and during academic breaks.
Students can now ride a Campus Shuttle to get around campus during the week. This will increase campus accessibility, particularly for buildings and businesses located on the perimeters of campus. The Campus Shuttle is free for anyone with an Oberlin College ID.
Airport Oberlin Shuttle (AOS) is the main private shuttle provider available to students for a nominal fee. In addition to the airport and academic break shuttles, AOS offers a shopping shuttle.
