The Oberlin Connector

The Oberlin Connector is an on-call service for Oberlin residents including Oberlin College students. Service is provided by Lorain County Transit.

Service hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.

To schedule a ride, call 800-406-7541. Riders may make arrangements on the same day or up to two weeks in advance. Passengers may flag down the driver and board the Connector without prior call.

The regular adult one-way fare is $2. Students ride at a reduced fare of $1. Cash only; exact change is required. Drivers do not carry change on the vehicles.

There is no service on the following holidays: MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples Day, Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.

The service area includes the City of Oberlin, and portions of New Russia Township, Amherst Township, City of Amherst, City of Lorain, Sheffield Township, City of Elyria, and Carlisle Township.

Oberlin EV CarShare

The City of Oberlin and Oberlin College have 4 CarShare vehicles (Chevrolet Bolts) available to any Oberlin resident or Oberlin College student with a valid driver’s license, pending certain requirements.
