Samantha Rohner is the Assistant Director for Career Readiness. She leads the Medical, Global Health and STEM Career Community. She is excited to draw upon her experience as a medical professional with an engineering education to assist students exploring their career options.
After completing her master’s degree, Samantha worked as a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist for 7 years. In this clinical role, she provided prosthetic and orthotic devices to patients with mobility challenges.
Throughout her graduate and undergraduate studies, Samantha was involved with many student activities and campus outreach. She was part of the Georgia Tech Leadership Fellows program and coached undergraduate students navigating leadership challenges. Samantha also worked as an Ambassador for Ohio State’s College of Engineering and was part of Phi Sigma Rho, a sorority founded for women in engineering.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys trying out new baking recipes, exploring restaurants in the area with her husband, going to Cedar Point with her family, and chasing after her surprisingly fast toddler.
