Peter Naegele Developes AI Tutors for Courses
Department of Psychology Research Technician Peter Naegele developed AI tutors for his Oberlin statistics courses Research Methods 2 (PSYCH 300) and R Studio (PSYCH 021). The AI tutors use a guided-learning approach, assisting students as they work through questions without simply handing over the answers. Naegele also developed an AI tutor for the Passion-Driven Statistics platform at Wesleyan College.
Peter Naegele to Teach AI Course
Department of Psychology Research Technician Peter Naegele will be teaching Oberlin's first course that leverages AI to carry out data analysis using the programming and data analysis software RStudio. Students will learn to perform psychological data analyses using R confidently, understand the logic of programming, and utilize AI to enhance their research workflows.

Winter Term in Oberlin: 2020
