Interested in combining the strengths of a liberal arts education with a future in engineering? Join us for an introduction to Oberlin’s 3-2 Engineering Program, designed for first-year students.
This session will provide an overview of the program structure, academic requirements, partner engineering schools, and the unique opportunities available to students pursuing engineering through Oberlin’s liberal arts curriculum. We’ll discuss how students can prepare academically, explore engineering interests alongside other fields of study, and take advantage of advising and experiential learning opportunities throughout their time at Oberlin.
Families and students will also hear about the flexibility of the program, common pathways students pursue, and how Oberlin supports students as they transition to engineering study after three years on campus. There will be time for questions and conversation with advisors and current students. All students curious about engineering are welcome, whether they are fully committed or simply exploring the possibility.
