Name: Debra Zvosec
Job title? Bookkeeper
How many years at Oberlin? 13
What does your job entail? I process invoices, receipts, and payments. I manage student payroll accounts and accounts payable. I collaborate with faculty and staff to screen and hire outside independent contractors. I arrange and acquire the rights for plays that are performed in the Irene and Alan Wurtzel Theater and the Kander Theater.
The theater and dance departments continue to utilize teamwork by collaborating, communicating, and supporting each other in an effort to keep our departments the best on campus. We want to provide the best possible performances and experiences for our students, their families, and the general public. We want our students to have the best possible learning memories during their time on campus and for years to come.
Hobbies? I love to work out. Spin class at the gym is awesome and I also work out at home. I ride my bike even in the winter—that’s something everyone should try. I also like to crochet, work outside in my yard, and jet skiing.
Favorite food? My Dad’s Italian spaghetti and meatballs, simply the best!
Life is short, live it.
Love is rare, grab it.
Anger is bad, dump it.
Fear is awful, face it.
Memories are sweet, cherish them.
