What I Did for Winter Term

Winter term affords students an opportunity to explore their academic interests outside of the classroom while helping them recognize the value of self-education. Students spent January 2015 undertaking independent and group study projects on- and off-campus, in Oberlin and around the world.

"In Oberlin History" is a series dedicated to notable events in Oberlin College history. In December of 1833, 29 men and 15 women began classes as the first students of the Oberlin Collegiate Institute.
