On December 10, 2016, seven members of Oberlin’s slam poetry team spit with their love and truth for a chance to win one of five spots on the 2017 College Union Poetry Slam Invitational team (CUPSI). CUPSI is the largest college-level poetry slam in the world, with more than 60 teams competing for top honors on April 12-15, 2017 at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
