BorderLight Transcends Geographic Divides, Promises to Put Cleveland On the Map
BorderLight, an international theater festival cofounded and codirected by Associate Professor and Chair of English and Cinema Studies Jeff Pence, will launch in Cleveland this summer. Four alumni will participate in this year's festival. {Read more}

Juneteenth Festival: June 14-15
This year's Juneteenth Festival will take place 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15, on Tappan Square. The annual picnic, which was traditionally at Spring Street Park, will be held for the first time in Tappan Square from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 14. The theme for the festival is "Children are our Blessing." {More info}

Oberlin Chalk Walk, June 22
Come to downtown Oberlin for a day of artistic fun for people of all ages. The Chalk Walk provides pastels and supplies to participants at no cost. Free and open to the public.
