As dean of the Division of Student Life, Eric Estes oversees Student Health Services, the Counseling Center, the Multicultural Resource Center, the Class Dean System, the Office of Safety and Security, and more. As we embark on the 2013-14 academic year, Oberlin OnCampus asked him if there are new developments or initiatives in his division.

I’m especially pleased to have Wendell Berry and Wes Jackson as our guests tonight. They will discuss with Oberlin’s David Orr what progress environmentalism has made over the past 35 years, as well as specific aspects of their work.

Longtime faculty member Edward J. Miller was a prolific composer and a versatile educator whose works were performed by orchestras around the world and by many fellow professors. He died August 31, 2013.
