Eight associate professors have been promoted to the rank of professor in the 2015-2016 academic year. The promoted faculty are:
- Salvatore Champagne
- Angela Cheng
- Alvin Chow
- Richard Hawkins
- Geoffrey Pingree
- Eve Sandberg
- Haewon Song
- Sylvia Watanabe
The Oberlin College and Conservatory administration extends congratulatory wishes to these seven professors on their promotions and wishes to express its heartfelt thanks for their continued dedication to the college and its mission. Professor of Creative Writing Sylvia Watanabe is currently on leave and was not available for a portrait.
