Lewis House is home to the Multifaith Chaplaincy and Sustained Dialogue, a place where student and administrative staff (interns, dialogue facilitators, coordinator and director) explore the practice of transformative hospitality. A common thread among users of this space is their programming interest in support of human-human and human-land relating.

In addition to Oberlin Buddhist Fellowship, Trans SpritiualiTea, Grief & Loss Support Group, current users include Barefoot Dialogue, both general groups and affinity groups: BIPOC, Black Identity & Experience, International Students, Jewish Identity & Experience, Multifaith, Sexual Harm & Trauma, and Trans Identity & Experience.

A signature, all-inclusive event is Waffle-Wednesdays where late brunch, early lunch attendees from all corners on campus enjoy hot waffles and syrup made from maple trees at Tappan Square. Watch for these warm gatherings hosted by student interns, held periodically and always during Maple season. Other events under student lead include Tea and Crafts and dedicated Study Space during breaks.
