Biography

Joseph P. Natt started at Oberlin College in September of 2005.  He received a BFA in Theater Set Design and Technology at Kent State University in 1997.  Since then, Natt has worked professionally as technical director for Lyric Opera Cleveland as well as five seasons at the Cleveland Play House on a variety of shows.

Natt has worked on over 130 productions including a 72-performance run of The Sound of Music at the Carousel Dinner Theater. At Oberlin, he has worked on the opera of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Street Scene, Assassins, Death of a Salesman, Reefer Madness and Psyco Beach Party.

Additionally Natt is the resident technical director for the Oberlin Summer Theater Festival, where he has spent the past eight summers working on such shows as The Tempest, Glass Menagerie, The Little Prince, Our Town, and Anne of Green Gables.
