Biography

I have been employed in college counseling centers for over 20 years and I love what I do. I feel very fortunate to be working at Oberlin (though I think I would be happier if Oberlin was located somewhere warmer and little more urban).

I am a counseling psychologist, which means I have been trained to help people with everyday life issues. My background includes training in couples therapy, career counseling, family therapy, multicultural counseling, sex therapy, and interpersonal counseling.

My special interests include working with students who are experiencing depression, anxiety/stress, interpersonal difficulties, gender issues, family of origin issues, body image concerns, and alcohol and other drug concerns.

Please feel free to drop by and check out Counseling and Psychological Services. We’ve got great toys, hot chocolate, coffee, and smiling faces. I look forward to meeting with you.
