Jasmin Grindon

Biography

Jasmin Grindon is the Conservatory Business Manager and is primarily responsible for
overseeing all budgetary and accounting functions in the Conservatory of Music, working closely with the Dean of the Conservatory, the Finance Office and the Controller’s Office.

Prior to this appointment, she served as Budget Analyst in the Office of Finance and
Administration. Before coming to Oberlin, she served as the Financial Administrator at Case Western Reserve University’s Continuing Medical Education Department.

Jasmin completed her Masters of Business Administration at Case Western’s Weatherhead School of Management and her undergraduate studies in Gerontology, with a minor in Spanish, at Miami University.

In addition to her financial and business expertise, Jasmin has an extensive interest in the arts: she currently serves as President of the Associate Board of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra and volunteers as a Redcoat at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square, where she also worked while completing her MBA at Case. 

Jasmin also serves as a Board member and volunteer at numerous other civic and service
organizations throughout Northeast Ohio, including All Faiths Pantry and Providing Oberlin With Efficiency Responsibly (POWER).
