Biography

Jaron M. LeGrair is a nationally recognized voice teacher, performer, and researcher whose work lies at the intersection of pedagogy, artistry, and vocal liberation. Through his private studio, he has trained hundreds of singers, actors, and public speakers across a range of genres, identities, and experience levels. Beyond the classroom, LeGrair has built a dynamic educational presence on social media, where his voice pedagogy content engages more than 1.2 million followers worldwide.

He has held faculty appointments at Point Park University, Saint Mary’s College of California, Youngstown State University, and Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2024, he delivered a TEDx Talk titled “Your Voice Is Your Story,” examining the emotional and cultural impact of the human voice. His work has been featured in Ebony magazine and in publications including The Vocal Athlete and The Choral Conductor’s Companion.

As a performer, LeGrair has collaborated with several of the nation’s most esteemed gospel choirs and ensembles. His teaching and research focus on gospel and contemporary voice pedagogy, vocal authenticity, and inclusive technique. An Estill Master Trainer, he has presented at conferences such as The Voice Foundation, the Pan-American Vocology Association, the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and Estill Voice International.
