Changes to Dining Plans and Options for 2025–26

Beginning this fall, numerous updates to campus dining will be implemented in response to input from students and Residence Life’s Dining Committee. Following is a breakdown of the key changes.

Weekly Meal Swipes

Meal plans will be restructured to a weekly replenishment of swipes. This format helps ensure students have enough meals throughout the semester. The three available meal plans are as follows:

• GoYeo: up to 28 meals per week (up to 5 swipes per day; 420 per semester)
• Gold: up to 21 meals per week (up to 4 swipes per day; 315 per semester)
• Cardinal: up to 7 meals per week (up to 3 swipes per day; 100 per semester)

Students may use meal swipes at campus dining halls—Stevenson Hall, Lord-Saunders Dining Hall, or Allergen-Free & Heritage Kosher Kitchen in Talcott Hall—or at any of a number of campus retail locations by using the Meal XChange program.

New Hours at Stevenson Hall—and the Return of Fourth Meal

Stevenson Hall, the primary dining hall on campus, will offer extended hours of operation for 2025–26:

• 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
• 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday

In addition, Fourth Meal—the popular dining option offered to satisfy late-night cravings—will be available in Stevenson Hall Monday through Friday nights from 9 to 11 p.m. Fourth Meal can be enjoyed as a grab-and-go or dine-in option—it’s up to you!

Allergen-Free Options

Students with allergies can find healthy and delicious options seven days a week in one of two campus locations: at Allergen-Free & Heritage Kosher Kitchen in Talcott Hall (Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m.) and at the “Roots & Smoke” station in Stevenson Hall (all day Friday and Saturday). All items at this station are prepared free of the nine most common food allergens.

These allergen-free options replace Clarity, the dining area formerly housed in the lower level of Fairchild House, which is offline as a student residence this year.

New Hours at Rathskeller

Thanks to student feedback, the Rathskeller—the popular quick-service dining option on the lower level of Wilder Hall—will be open daily from 7:30 to 10 a.m. for breakfast and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for lunch and dinner. Fourth Meal, the late-night dining option previously available only as grab-and-go at the Rathskeller, moves to Stevenson this year and adds a dine-in option.
