Training and competition in soccer and lacrosse take place on Fred Shults Field, a joint complex with the Robert Lewis Kahn Field for track. The field is a natural grass surface with Kentucky Blue Grass and perennial rye. The complex opened in the fall 2006 sports season and also is available for use by the community.

The soccer and lacrosse field is named for longtime Oberlin coach Fred Shults ’54.

The track is named for Oberlin benefactor Kahn ’55, a student athlete who lettered in track, cross country, and tennis.
