Help us put the “BOO” in O-BOO-erlin!

Friday, October 30 | Noon to 5 p.m.*

Calling all Obies… step into the shadow realm (if you dare).

Don your most sinister, glamorous, or absurd costumes (or come just as you are!) on Friday, October 30, between noon and 5:00 p.m.* for the annual Trick or Treating for Obies.

Creep, float, or haunt your way through campus to summon sugary treasures and spooky trinkets. Before venturing out:

  • Scout the Haunts: Read through the list of participating offices below to uncover their drop in hours (a few brave souls are keeping their doors open past the witching hour) and to see what sweet offerings await (rumor has it full-size candy bars are lurking in the wild).

  • Consult the Map of Horrors: Chart your course through the candy-laden labyrinth so you don’t lose your way… or your soul.

Calling all Staff & Faculty: It’s not too late to join in the fun! Register your office as a participating haunt and help fuel the campus sugar rush.

Here’s how it will work:

Trick or treating for Obies will take place on Friday, October 30 from noon to 5 p.m. —OR you can let us know a shorter or longer window of time when you’ll be open for Halloween business.

Would your office like to participate? First, check with your office mates to make sure everyone is on board. Then let us know by filling out the participation form no later than Tuesday, October 27 so we can send some trick-or-treaters in your direction. 

Be sure to print signs to hang on the doors of your building to advertise the event, and signs for your office door to let people know when you’ll be handing out candy (or stickers, pens, whatever).
