Medicine and healthcare go far beyond just science and biology—they’re shaped by culture, values, society, and the policies we create. Often, there isn’t a single “right” answer, especially when lives and ethical dilemmas are on the line.
In this session led by Leah Jeunnette, PhD, you’ll discover how bioethics connects these issues, influencing everything from patient care to the way healthcare professionals make tough decisions. By exploring real-life scenarios, you’ll see how ethics guides both the practice of medicine and the future of healthcare itself.
Jeunnette is the Director of the MA in Bioethics and Medical Humanities and Associate Director of Educational Programs at Case Western Reserve University and will also share information about these graduate programs.
