Please RSVP. All students are welcome to learn from John Knific's 15+ years experience as a serial entrepreneur and investor who has built three venture backed software companies here in Cleveland. John co-founded Wiser, a virtual communities platform that transformed how universities engage with students. Wiser ultimately served about 1 million active users, including Obies, before being acquired by the Education Advisory Board, EAB, and Vista Equity in February 2021. John's entrepreneurial journey began with Decision Desk, a company which he stared out of his dorm room as a student at Case Western Reserve University when he was still on a music and pre medicine track, and ultimately raised 6 million in venture funding. John is also the co-founder of K2 Venture Partners, and a student advisor for the Oberlin Pathfinder Program.
