The Multicultural Resource Commons (MRC) is excited to invite pending graduates to participate in the annual Unity Celebration. This celebration at Oberlin College and Conservatory honors and celebrates the achievements of students of color and their allies/supporters.
This year, the Unity Celebration will occur on Thursday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Heisman Field House. If you are attending, arrive no later than 9:40 a.m. so we may start on time.
Important Notes:
- To participate in the Unity Celebration, including being recognized in the slideshow and program and being considered for student speaker or performer, you MUST register before Friday, May 1. Use this form to register.
- Those who do not register by May 1 are still welcome to join in on either event but will not be individually recognized nor considered to be a keynote speaker or performer.
The Unity Celebration will include:
- A speech by a graduating student
- Performance(s) by graduating student(s)
- Individual recognition of participating graduates
- Refreshments and photo opportunities
Students, faculty, and staff are warmly welcome to attend. To ensure a supportive and affirming environment, we ask that any guests, including friends and family, be personally invited by a graduating student participating in the event. All are welcome. Use this form to RSVP.
