Get Directions

Shansi Fellow Laura Li ’18 will share moving-image works that trace family memory across borders and generations. Through stories of grandparents shaped by the Vietnam War, exploring gender and family trauma of the One-Child Policy, and intimate family archives, their films explore how seemingly personal histories reveal larger political contexts.

The program includes a 20–30 minute screening of selected films followed by an open dialogue with the audience, inviting collective reflection on memory, belonging, and transnational connection.

Light snacks will be provided.

Open to all members of the Oberlin campus community
