Lauren Tess’s poems have appeared in Rattle, Poetry Northwest, Witness, Nimrod, Salamander, Meridian, Tar River Poetry, Atlanta Review, Dialogist, Cimarron Review, and elsewhere. She earned an MFA at theUniversity of Montana, where she was a poetry editor at CutBank. The recipient of an Academy of American Poets University Prize, Lauren lives with her family on the edge of Cleveland. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Oberlin College.

Cleo Qian is a queer fiction writer and poet. She is the author of the award-winning story collection LET’S GO LET’S GO LET’S GO (Tin House, 2023) and a 2024 National Poetry Series finalist. Her fiction, poetry, and essays have appeared in nearly thirty outlets including American Poetry ReviewZYZZYVA, The Sun, and The Massachusetts Review. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Oberlin College.
