IntergenConnect is a program that brings Oberlin students and Kendal residents together to build meaningful friendships across generations. Think of it as having a “grandfriend” on campus—someone to share stories, laughter, advice, and maybe even a cup of tea with. Students get the joy of connecting with wise, experienced, and fascinating members of the Kendal community, while residents get to stay in touch with the energy and creativity of college life. Whether it’s chatting about books, walking in Tappan, playing Scrabble, or simply learning from each other’s perspectives, IntergenConnect! is all about creating bonds that feel like family.
Our first event will consist of a hangout, where we will have ten Oberlin students and ten Kendal residents bond with one another with a series of games!
