Guest Speaker Darby Saxbe, Ph.D.

The Cole Lecture Series is proud to host Dr. Darby Saxbe for a presentation titled:  "How Fatherhood Transforms the Brain and Body".

Dr. Saxbe will present a program of research on the neurobiology of parenthood. Her interest in dads started during her childhood in Oberlin and continues in her laboratory at the University of Southern California, where she follows first-time fathers from pregnancy across the postpartum period. In this talk, she will describe why fathers are both strange and important, and share some findings on the brains and hormones of fathers.
