Common Ground-The Cindy Nord Center for Renewal is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1994 and is home to summer day camps, youth & adult team-building programs, and custom-designed leadership & mindfulness seminars. We have a top-rated zipline canopy tour open to the public, the proceeds from which are reinvested in our youth programs for the community.
We are located on 30 wooded acres along the Vermilion River Valley just west of Oberlin, Ohio and open to the public.
We employ a small year-round staff, and the majority of our workforce is employed seasonally from April to October. We have numerous opportunities for spring to fall employment in our camp, teambuilding and zipline programs, along with grounds/maintenance assistance with flexibility for PT and FT hours. We also have summer internships available through these programs as well as other opportunities in non-profit management and program development.
