This Oberlin Dialogue Collective event is open to students, faculty, and staff!
We are in a challenging moment for higher education, and for the people who sustain and navigate these systems every day. Across the country and on our own campus, many of us are feeling the accumulated pressures of social division, heightened public scrutiny, financial strain, and rapid change in the world around us. These forces all compound, shaping the atmosphere in which we teach, learn, and work.
This campus-wide dialogue is a chance for our community to come together and acknowledge that reality and how it shapes our own experiences. Students, faculty, and staff are all invited to gather, reflect, and speak with one another about the pressures facing higher education and what they mean for us.
In a time when the pace and intensity of change can make it hard to step back, this event offers a shared space to process and listen.
Please note that this event requires participation for the full two-hour block. Groups will settle in from the start and without interruption.
