Come join us for an afternoon of education and conversation about a group of scholars whose discovery of a forgotten abolitionist manuscript from 1839 led to a line of groundbreaking work that sheds light on countercultural communities as examples of interracial cooperation and equality and what this could indicate about what the relationship between race and faith in the church could look like.

This event will include the viewing of a 30 minute short film made by the people behind the Awakening to Justice Project followed by a Q&A discussion with students from Oberlin Christian Fellowship, Voices for Christ, and other Christian fellowships. For more information about the project that the film will come from, please visit www.awakeningtojustice.com
