Art Lens: AMAM + CWAL

Hosted by staff from the Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) and the Clarence Ward Art Library (CWAL), Art Lens is a new, art-related, short-form reading club. 

We kindly ask participants to read Walter Benjamin's 1935 essay, "The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction" (linked here; print-outs are also available at the Art Library Circulation Desk).

Meet in the AMAM lobby, where we will reflect on and discuss works of art through our respective interpretations of the essay. We can keep the conversations going in the Art Library with some light refreshments once the museum closes!
