The Eric Baker Nord Performing Arts Annex is situated between Hall Auditorium and the Peter B. Lewis Gateway Center.

The Nord Performing Arts Annex features the Irene and Alan Wurtzel Theater, a highly adaptable performance space that can accommodate up to 300 seats. Seating can be arranged around the stage, offering opportunities for a variety of productions.

The accessible building also has a spacious lobby and second-floor gathering space, costume shop, rehearsal room, a laundry facility, updated restrooms, faculty offices, and other necessary spaces.

The Nord Performing Arts Annex and the renovated Hall Annex adjoins directly with Hall Auditorium, creating an interconnected performing arts complex. Hall Annex includes the new Kander Theater, which has replaced the Little Theater.

The annex brings together these three different theaters to allow Oberlin’s theater, dance, and vocal studies programs to stage a range of productions—from student-led and experimental works to full-scale operas and plays.
