OC Votes

Early voting has begun in Ohio and Election Day, Nov. 8, is very soon!  Be informed with the League of Women Voters Lorain County Voter Guide.  Download it at lwvoberlinarea.org.

Check the voter ID requirements BEFORE you vote on Election Day! Ohio Voter ID Requirements  There are many options other than an Ohio driver's license but they will require some effort to obtain, especially for off-campus students.

Cast your vote securely in one of three ways:

1. Vote early in person at the Board of Elections.  This is the best option if you do not have the required ID, since you only need to provide the last four digits of your social security number.  Hours and location: https://www.voteloraincountyohio.gov/

2. Request an absentee ballot and mail it to the Board of Elections, postmarked no later than Nov. 7.  Make sure your ballot envelope is filled out carefully and completely.

3. Vote in person on Election Day.  Note!  Most on-campus students will vote at Prospect School (NOT in Philips Gym or field house).  Exceptions: Tank, Old Barrows, and Firelands residents all vote at Mt. Zion Fellowship Hall.

Voter ID for on-campus students will be a utility bill from the college, sent to you by email.  PRINT the message and bring it with you to your polling place.

Know your rights!  Every citizen who is 18 or older may vote by provisional ballot on Election Day if there is any question about their voter registration or lack of proper ID.
