Introducing Oberlin’s Updated Brand Experience
Dear colleagues,
The Office of Communications is excited to share news of a refreshed brand experience for our campus community.
Over the past two years, we’ve taken a close look at how we present Oberlin—visually, verbally, and through the experiences we create. This work was shaped by your input and our shared goals, and it’s all about making sure our brand truly reflects who we are today and where we’re headed.
This isn’t just a new look. It’s a clearer, more cohesive way to tell our story, connect with our audiences, and represent the impact we’re making together.
To help you put this into practice, we’ve created a range of updated tools and resources you can start using right away:
- Refreshed Canva brand kits for the college and conservatory.
- New brand typefaces for faculty and staff computers.
- Expanded logo-lockup options for campus offices and departments.
- Editable letterhead, presentations, and templates.
- A comprehensive brand manual.
You’ll start to see these updates showing up across our digital platforms, communications, and campus materials—and we hope they’ll make your day-to-day work easier and more consistent.
We’re also planning hands-on brand workshops starting this summer. These sessions are designed to help you feel confident using the new tools and to support all of us in representing Oberlin clearly and consistently.
You can explore everything at brand.oberlin.edu, and reach out to us anytime at brand@oberlin.edu.
At the end of the day, our brand is something we build together—through the ways we communicate, collaborate, and show up every day. Thanks for being part of this next chapter with us!
